It hosts many spectacular events, from motorcycle sprints and classic car shows to battle re-enactments and classical music concerts. 400-year old Astley Hall boasts fine old furnishings and decorations and houses an art gallery and museum with excellent collections of historic and contemporary art, textiles, ceramics and glassware.
